PURPOSE:To make measurement of wheel alignment of a vehicle easier with a conventional wheel alignment gauge, by providing the specified king pin angle measuring surface and caster angle measuring surface, etc. CONSTITUTION:As a conventional wheel alignment gauge 30 is provided with a magnetic clamp 31, the clamp 31 is pushed against the king pin angle measurang surface 13 and the gauge 30 is allowed to be positioned in the gauge attachment block 11. And, using the camper measuring scale of the gauge 30, the king pin angle is measure.d Next, the gauge 30 is disconnected from the king pin angle measuring surface 13 and the clamp 31 is brought to rest on the LH wheel caster angle measuring surface 14 to measure the caster angle of the LH wheel. Further, measurements of the RH wheel king pin angle and caster angle can be done similarly as the LH wheel, by mounting the wheel alignment gauge attachment 10 on the RH knuckle. Thus, the alignment measurements become easier. |
