Anechoic coatings. The invention consists in dispersing a high percentage of hollow glass or Bakelite microbeads, a low percentage of lead powder and an intermediate percentage of air microbubbles in a matrix of polyurethane or of another suitably chosen viscoelastic material. It makes it possible to obtain anechoic materials which are relatively light.
