PURPOSE:To make possible the prevention of penetration of gas into a molten metal by communicating and connecting the tap hole of a hermetic type pouring furnace and a casting mold via an opening/closing means having airtightness and subjecting the respective inside of the pouring furnace and the casting mold to a degassing treatment. CONSTITUTION:The pouring furnace 23 is subjected to the degassing treatment by closing the opening/closing means 28 and thereafter the metal in the furnace body 21 is heated and melted. The entire part of the furnace is tilted around a pivotal shaft 30 after opening the means 28, then the molten metal 5 in the furnace body 21 is poured from the tap hole 26 through the inside of a pouring means 25 into the casting mold in a vessel 24 subjected to the degassing treatment. The means 25 is deformed as shown by a chain line when the furnace 23 tilts but the means has flexibility and therefore the spoiling of the airtightness is obviated.
