PURPOSE:To obtain titled solder which obviates the deterioration in insulation resistance by the solvent in a residual flux, decreases the deterioration with age, has high reliability and has no uncomfortable smell by adding a specific ester as a solvent to a soldering flux which consists essentially of rosin and is added with an activator. CONSTITUTION:The titled flux consists essentially of water white rosin, is added with the activator such as cyclohexylamine hydrochloride and is added with the following materials such as, for example, ethyl butyrate among esters which themselves have the high insulation resistance and have the good solubility with the rosin. More specifically, >=1 kinds among isoamyl isovalerate, citronellyl acetate, cinnamyl acetate, allyl cyclohexyl propionate, isoamyl acetate including ethylbutyrate or the isomer thereof are used as the solvent material.
