PURPOSE:To perform a good joining by making the pressure force of contact part and the current density same by displacement gage during welding to stabilized resistance heating and to discharge of compounds and oxides among metals in the pressure resistance welding by the opposing electrode of overlapped material to be joined. CONSTITUTION:The overlapped materials 3, 4 to be joined are welded by the pressure 7 of opposing electrodes 1, 2 and the electrification 5. In such case, the current density is made same by controlling a power source 5 by differential amplifier circuit 12 and controlling circuit 6 by measuring with eddycurrent displacement gage 9 the displacement of the reference plate 10 of electrode 1 and by operating with arithmetic circuit 11. The pressure force is made same as well by controlling pressurizing device 7 by differential amplifier circuit 13. The joining part is welded well by performing stabilized resistance heating on the joining part and by discharging outside the compound and oxide among the metals on the joining part.
