PURPOSE:To provide yarn with mechanical properties for practical use, solidifying extruded yarn once, subjecting it to heat drawing in a heating zone while sending a specific amount of a hot gas there to and entangling it at a position after an outlet at the bottom of the heating zone. CONSTITUTION:Yarn is subjected to heat drawing while sending 10-80Nl/min hot gas to a heating zone. The temperature of the hot gas is >=70 deg.C, preferably 100-300 deg.C. The drawing rate is >=3,000m/min, and the yarn is entangled at a position after an outlet at the bottom of the heating zone. When the distance x from the outlet of the heating zone to an entangling device is >=25cm, suppressing effects on fluff and end breakage are enlarged.
