PURPOSE:To provide the titled rolling device which can roll products of the smaller sizes at the lower finish rolling speed than conventional practice with a small number of rolling mills consisting of a wedging mill, multi-rod splitting mill and finishing mill. CONSTITUTION:The plate material 1 having a section 1a is wedged by the roll calibers of the wedging mill 5 and is thereby rolled to the shape having contractions as shown in 1d. The material 1 after the above-mentioned rolling is then rolled and split as shown in 1e by the splitting rolls of the multi-rod splitting mill 6 and is thereafter rolled and formed to a product shape 1p by the roll group of the finishing mill 7. The rolling of the rods with high production capacity is made possible with the rolling mills of the extremely smaller number than in the conventional technique according to the method of this invention. |
