<p>New heat resistant, thermoplastic copoly(estercarbon- ates) based on 3-methyl-4-hydroxy-benzoic acid are disclosed. The copolymers exhibit higher glass transition temperatures due to the presence of the 3-methyl substituent on the benzoate units of the polymer. They are useful in the preparation of thermoplastic engineering compositions for extrusion or molding into shaped articles.</p> |
