PURPOSE:The title composition that is obtained by adding a thermoplastic poly(ether)sulfone to composition containing a specific spiroacetal ring- containing epox resin and a curing agent, thus giving CFRP of high impact strength and high compression strength at elevated temperature after moisturing. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is obtained by adding (A) thermoplastic poly(ether) sulfone, preferably a polymer of formula III or formula IV to (B) an epoxy resin composition which is composed of (i) an epoxy resin containing spiroacetal rings of formula I (R is H, methoxy), (ii) a bisphenol-A- type epoxy resin, and (iii) a curing agent of formula II (R is residue of alkylene glycol of 3-6 carbon atoms; the amino groups are on the o- or p-positions). |
