PURPOSE:To enable different kinds of disks to be reproduced by recording a signal on a rotary member rotated in synchronism with a motor the same as a signal recorded on the first disk containing a synchronizing signal and detecting the synchronizing signal for controlling the rotation of the second disk. CONSTITUTION:A turntable 21 distinct from a turntable 2 on which to place an optical digital audio disk 3 is provided and an analog audio disk 22 is placed on a turntable 21 so as to be rotated by a motor 1. The signals containing the synchronizing signals and similar to those recorded on the disk 3 are recorded on a approximately annular flat part 25 provided to the outer periphery of the table 21. The disk 3 is reproduced by a pickup 5, the motor 1 is controlled in rotation by a servo circuit 15 and the signals are processed by a signal processing circuit 12. At reproduction of the disk 22, the circuit 15 is actuated by the pickup signals by the pickup 5 while the reproduced signals are taken out by a pickup 26. In such a manner, the disks of different kinds are reproduced.
