The invention relates to a hydraulic adjusting device for influencing the start of injection of an injection pump intended for self-ignition internal combustion engines with the introduction of hydraulic oil into a working chamber formed by a roller tappet and an adjusting piston guided inside this as a function of operating data of the internal combustion engine. In this adjusting device the tappet spring is uncoupled from the adjusting piston, which when hydraulic oil is introduced functions counter to a separate piston spring, the preloading force of which, in the event of any deviation of the preloading forces of the piston springs assigned to the pump elements of the injection pump, can be adjusted by shins to give simultaneous start of delivery for all pump plungers.
