PURPOSE:To reproduce an image with high resolution from an original image with low resolution by selecting a image element neighboring a reproducing picture element out of plural sheets of the original images and setting the luminance or the density that comes to the center of every image element as that of a reproducing image. CONSTITUTION:Original image data having share of n-frames that is outputted from image memory 40 with the low resolution such as a VTR is accumulated at a buffer memory 42 through an A/D converter 41. A processor 43 selects plural image elements neighboring the position of every image element of the reproducing images out of every original image of the plural sheets of the original images that are stored at the buffer memory 42. And the center value of plural pairs of the density or the luminance of the selected image elements is calculated and is outputted to an output image storage device 44 as the density or the luminance of the reproducing image. Thereby, a noiseless image with high resolution can be reproduced from the original image with low resolution by a data plotter 45. |
