PURPOSE:To improve the operation performance of an operating pedal by forming one among the right and left parts of a front pad thicker than the other, in a seat cushion in which the undersurface of the pad is supported onto a supporting member and the uppersurface is covered with a skin sheet. CONSTITUTION:A seat cushion 5 installed onto a driver's seat 1 consists of a supporting member 6, pad 7 and a skin sheet 8. In this case, the supporting member 6 is installed in slidable ways in the longitudinal direction on a floor 4, and several supporting pipes 13 installed crosswise between the seat cushion frames 14 are formed higher in the front part 15 and lower in the rear part 16, and the left front part 18 is formed lower than the right front part 17. As for the pad 7, the upper surface 19 is formed so as to be inclined gradually downwardly in the rear part, and the undersurface 20 is formed to coincide with the shape of the supporting pipe 13, and the rear part 21 is projected downwardly and is formed thicker than the front part 22, and the left front part 24 is projected downwardly and formed thicker than the right front part 23.
