PURPOSE:To use efficiently a variety of natural resources and to improve the using efficiency by providing control parts corresponding to plural test heads and the supervisery control part of a resister storing control information on those resources in a measuring part. CONSTITUTION:When a subject to be tested is connected to the test head part 4a, the control part 2a arranges the test preparation and transmits various resource using request signals to the supervisery control part 1, which supervises the using states of the resources 61, 62.... When registers are not used in corre spondence to the test head 4b, the control part 1 makes a multiplexer 5 select the head part 4b and multiplexers 91, 92... select the registers 71a, 72... corre sponding to the head 4a, and transmits the usage permitting signal of each resource 61 to the control part 2a. Receiving the permitting signal, the control part 2a sets the registers 71a, 72a... through a bus line 8a and the resources 61,... in the desired states through the multiplexers 91,... and exchanges the signal with the subject to be tested through the head part 4a, thereby conducting the test.
