PURPOSE:To enable ultra-microscopic analysis, by performing processing using a non-specific antibody and/or a modified protein simultaneously with or immediately before a processing by an antibody and/or a labelled antibody. CONSTITUTION:For example, in a sandwitch type assay for measuring an antigen to be analyzed in a liquid sample, an antibody to react with an object to be analyzed is attached to a solid phase and the solid phase thus obtained is made to react with the object being analyzed. Then, the product is treated with a mixture of a labelled antibody able to react with the object being analyzed and a blocker and the labelled antibody sandwitch obtained is measured by a method specific to the label substance. In a direct immunoassay, the object being analyzed is attached to the solid phase, the solid phase thus obtained is treated with a mixture of the labelled antibody able to react with the object being analyzed and a blocker and then, a measurement is done by a method specific to the label substance. Thus, ultra-microscopic analysis can be done.
