PURPOSE:To solve a problem about an atmosphere resistance of a liquid crystal cell against a humidity resistance and an adhesion by arranging double sealing walls and by using an epoxy resin adhesives contg. an aromatic amine type curing agent as an inside sealing wall, and by using an epoxy resin adhesives contg. an acid anhydride type curing agent as an coutside sealing wall. CONSTITUTION:The two sealing walls 3, 4 are arranged on a glass substrate 1 provided a transparent electrode film 2 thereon. The liquid crystal substance is put in an inner part of the inside sealing wall 4 so as not to contact it with the outside sealing wall 3. The liquid crystal inlet is provided in the inner sealing wall 4. While the outlet of the gas which is contd. in the atmosphere and is closed in a space between the inner and the outer walls when assembling a liquid crystal light valve, is provided on the outer sealing wall 3. The inlet and outlet are sealed with the sealing materials 5, 6 of the epoxy resin respectively. The inner sealing wall 4 composes of the epoxy resin adhesives contg. the aromatic amine type curing agent having the excellent liquid crystal resistance and humidity resistance properties. While the outside sealing wall 3 composes of the epoxy resin adhesives contg. the acid anhydride curing agent and having the excellent adhesive property against the ITO film 2. |
