<p>PURPOSE:To detect the contact between a tool and a work by detecting the component due to the induced electric current from among the output signals of a detection coil. CONSTITUTION:A control part 18 consists of a power source part 19 for the flow of high-frequency electric current in a excitation coil 7 and a detection part 20 for obtaining detection signals from the output signals of a detection coil 10. A detection apparatus consists of an annular sensor part 6 which penetrates a main shaft part 3 and a control part 18, and in the sensor part 6, excitation and detection coils 7 and 10 are arranged, keeping a shielding plate 13 interposed. A high-frequency electric current flows in the coil 9 of the excitation coil 7 by an electric power source 19, and a high-frequency mag netic field is generated in a core 11. When a tool 4 and a work 5 contact, a high-frequency electric current H which flows in loop form in a frame 2, main shaft 3 tool 4 and the work 5 is generated, and a high-frequency electric current is indueced in a coil 12 by the high-frequency magnetic field of the core 11, and the output signal of the coil 10 is generated, and a detection signal is outputted in the detection part 20.</p> |
