PURPOSE:To automatically arrest and supply a sheet having a winding habit by using sheet grip bars consisting of a pinch roll made with a group of concentric rolls and a pair of comb teeth having the width couplable with the distance between rolls. CONSTITUTION:The outer peripheral paper S for wrapping a metal coil is extracted from a place stocked in a coil shape and is guided and held in a sheet feeder 10. That is, the outer peripheral paper S has a bending habit due to the coil-like stock, but it is first held by a pinch roll 11 and is arrested by sheet grip bars. Here, the pinch roll 11 is applied with a distance (l), and the comb teeth 17 having the distance (1) and width (t) is provided so that the comb teeth 17 and pinch roll 11 can be brought into contact together. Next, when the outer peripheral paper S is gripped between the grip bars 15, the bars 15 are released from the pinch roll 11 and approach the barrel section of a paper winding roll 18, and the outer peripheral paper S is adsorbed from the bars 15 to the roll 18, but a difference of the width (d) is provided between the bars 15-1, 15-2 to facilitate the adsorption of the end of the outer peripheral paper S by the roll 18.
