PURPOSE:To effectively and easily carry out a pattern recognition even to a filter in which a black point contacts an external periphery of an electrode by disposing a linear filter capable of changing the number of bits in accordance with size of the black point on the electrode and feeding a binary coded image to a pattern recognizing section. CONSTITUTION:When only 4 bit selecting signal of a CPU control input 8 is brought to a L level, a binary coded signal to which 1st bit output of (n) bit shift register 2 is inputted synchronizes with a clock pulse and appears as it is. In a 4th bit output, since the 4 bit selecting signal is L level, the same signal is produced in an OR circuit. An output of the OR circuit in an output of (n)-5th bit is H level, so that an output of (n-2) input NAND circuit 5b is influenced by the 1st bit or the 4th bit, and when both the bits are H, the output becomes L. This means a 4 bit linear filter and when bits of a right end and a left end of the 4 bits are white, 2 bits in a center are made white. With respect to the filter in which a black section 22 is present on a white electrode 20, a form is simplified and a pattern recognition is easily executed done. |
