Yarn cotextured by a fixed false-twist process, consisting of at least two multifilamentary continuous filaments, characterised in that at least one of the multifilamentary continuous filaments is made of textured synthetic textile material and in that the other is at least one multifilamentary continuous filament made of artificial cellulosic material, the cotextured yarn being interwoven and exhibiting a cohesion factor of between 80 and 110 nodes per metre, preferably between 90 and 100 nodes per metre. Process in which the following stages are used: feeding both yarns to the fixed false-twist texturing machine, passing through a first oven, through a false-twist means, through a second oven, through an interweaving nozzle and then coiling. Depending on the texturing equipment employed, the interweaving nozzle is situated after or before the fixing zone, the false-twist means is a spindle false-twist means or a friction false-twist means. The synthetic yarns employed are yarns based on polyamide or polyester, which are completely or partially oriented.
