PURPOSE:To obtain a titled composite body having no crack and breakage in a ceramic core body by selecting an iron alloy having the specific value or below of a dimensional change rate of expansion owing to the phase transformation in the prescribed cooling temp. region after casting as the iron alloy for insert-casting of said core body. CONSTITUTION:The iron-base alloy having <=1.2% dimensional change rate of expansion in the Ar'' transformation from 500 deg.C up to an ordinary temp. in the cooling process after casting is used as the iron-base alloy in the stage of producing the composite ceramic-iron-base alloy body by insert-casting of the iron- base alloy to the periphery of the ceramic core body. The composite ceramic- iron-base alloy body having no crack in the ceramic core body is thus obtd. |
