<p>PURPOSE:To provide the vessel, from which the contents of the vessel will never boil over even when the contents is boiled, by a method wherein a heat- shrinkable member, shrunk in case the vessel is heated in the microwave oven and fixing the lid of the vessel to the vessel, is provided. CONSTITUTION:The lid 13 is provided concentrically with the heat-shrinkable member 14 in a form to surround the vessel 12. The lid 13 is provided with one set of circular opening 18 at the center thereof. Rice, changed into alpha condition previously, is accommodated in the vessel 11 together with water, the lid 13 is put on the vessel and the vessel is put in the electronic range to heat it. The lid 13 is adhered to the vessel 12 by the heat-shrinkable member 14, therefore, the space in the vessel 11 becomes low pressurized condition, the rice can be heated and cooked well in a short period of time and, simultaneously, boil over may be prevented. Further, the rice may be steamed sufficiently after taking the vessel 11 with lid out of the microwave oven.</p> |
