PURPOSE:To efficiently arrange pipes, by extending exhaust pipes of cylinders, arranged in the rear side of a car body in a vertical multicylinder V-engine, to the rear of the car body through curved parts and providing exhaust pipes of cylinders in the front side to be arranged in the bottom of said curved parts. CONSTITUTION:A vertical four-cylinder V-engine, having cylinders 17, 18 in the front side of a car body and cylinders 19, 20 in the rear side, respectively connects exhaust pipes 21-24 with each cylinder 17-20. Here the exhaust pipes 23, 24 are inserted from the rear of the engine to a space 11d between both left and right arms 11a, 11a of a rear fork 11, and the pipes 23, 24, flexing respectively into a U-shape thereafter extending to the rear of the car body and connecting with a middle pipe 25, join together into one pipe. While the exhaust pipes 21, 22 are arranged in the bottom of curved parts 23a, 24a of the exhaust pipes 23, 24 via the bottom of the engine, and then the pipes 21, 22, extending to the rear of the car body and connecting with a middle pipe 26, join together into one pipe. And the both middle pipes 25, 26 are connected with a muffler 28 through one tail pipe 27. |
