PURPOSE:To aim at the effective utilization of waste heat, by heating clear water in heat exchange with exhaust gas out of an internal-combustion engine driving a generator, storing this hot water in a tank, and sprinkling it for melting the snow, while collecting water after being thawed and controlling the engine according to a water level variation in the collected water tank. CONSTITUTION:In case of a steam supply and power generating set 1, a generator 3 is driven by an internal-combustion engine 2, and exhaust gas and clear water are heat-exchanged with an exhaust gas heat exchanger 4 installed in an exhaust pipe of the internal-combustion engine 2, thus the clear water is heated. Likewise, cooling water (clear water) is circulated with a circulating pump 8 and thereby the clear water is heated in order to cool the internal-combustion engine 2. Then, the clear water (hot water), whose temperature goes up by the exhaust gas heat exchanger 4 and the internal-combustion engine 2 is stored in a hot water storage tank 7, having this hot water sprinkled out of a sprinkling pipe 20, thus it is utilized for melting the snow. And, the water produced by melting the snow is collected with a collecting water measure 22, and it is stored in a storage tank 24 having a settling tank 23, thus a governor of the internal-combustion engine 2 is controlled according to a water level in this storage tank 24. |
