PURPOSE:To obtain a device for driving a power transistor which reduces greatly the driving power by actuating a power transistor by means of a degenerative parametric amplifier circuit formed by making use of the nonlinear action of inductance of a current driving transformer. CONSTITUTION:The collector of a power transistor TR Q1 is connected to a DC input power supply PS1 via an input filter consisting of an inductance L1 and a capacity C1. The 2nd winding N2 of a current driving transformer T1 using the saturable reactor is connected between the base and the emitter of the TR Q1. The emitter of the TR Q1 is connected an end of the 1st winding N1 of the transformer T1, and the other end of the N1 is connected to the cathode of a flywheel diode CR1 for supply of the electric power when the TR Q1 is kept off and then to a load resistance RL via an output filter consisting of an inductance L2 and a capacity C2. |
