Guide insert for pipes through which liquid is flowing and in which solid bodies are being conveyed

To improve the transport performance of bodies (2) conveyed in pipes (3) by means of a liquid, guide inserts (1) are built into these pipes (3) consisting of corrosion- and wear-resistant material and having at least two runners in each case on mutually opposite sides. To facilitate the installation of the guide inserts (1) into the pipes (3), these guide inserts (1) are of resilient design and provided with a slight oversize so that they are self-centring in the pipe. <IMAGE>
