The invention is a mechanical-electronic measuring device, preferably for hot utility water measurement in the construction of residences and is based on a volumetric measuring method. It is characterised by the fact that the pulses coming from a measured-value transmitter are reweighted in dependence on the temperature of the medium to be measured, and are indicated centrally or at a decentralised position via an electronic meter. The reweighting can be effected by a temperature-dependent measurement-range switch or a temperature-dependent frequency divider.
