PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for separate provision of a supervisory signal oscillator by adding a positive feedback circuit to an amplifier to be supervised and using the amplifier as an oscillator for a supervisory signal in common. CONSTITUTION:A signal from an input terminal 1 is fed to the amplifier 3 to be supervised via a directional coupler 2 and a supervisory signal is fed to the amplifier 3 via the coupler 2. On the other hand, the supervisory signal extracted from a circulator 4 is inputted to a phase adjusting device 8 and a feedback signal to the amplifier 3 is fed back positively. Then the supervisory signal subjected to phase adjustment is inputted to a limiter diode circuit 9 from an adjuster 8 and the feedback power is made constant and the result is inputted to the amplifier 3 via the coupler 2. Further, the diode circuit 9 is used in common as a detector for the supervisory signal power and the detected output is sent from a supervisory signal output terminal 11 via a DC amplifier 10. Thus, it is not required to provide separately a supervisory signal oscillator.
