A device for stacking timber elements and applying lattens so that they are situated between the layers of timber in the stack comprises a stacking station (1), apparatus 1 (2) for supplying the timber element to the station and apparatus 2 (3) for applying a layer consisting of a number of lattens (4), which extend across the timber elements, to a layer of elements in the stack. Apparatus 2 (3) comprises a body (10) to position the lattens (4) intended for a layer in a standby position above a carrier (9) located next to the stacking station (1) and apparatus 1 (2) for supply of timber elements. The lattens in said standby position are arranged in a manner that corresponds to the arrangement they shall have in the stack. Apparatus 2 also has bodies separate from apparatus 1 (2) for the supply of wood elements that move the lattens from the carrier (9) to the stacking station (1).<IMAGE> |
