PURPOSE:To ensure excellent pattern accuracy and eliminate the need for a developing step, by providing a thermal recording layer on a transparent base and providing an adhesion-enhancing agent and an adhesive layer thereon. CONSTITUTION:The thermal recording layer comprising a particulate heat- absorbing material and a film-forming binder resin is provided on the transparent base,and the adhesive layer comprising an adhesion-enhancing agent for enhancing adhesion to a metal and an organic high molecular weight compound is provided thereon. The heat-absorbing material is preferably graphite, carbon or the like, and to increase the effect, an absorbent having a strong absorptivity in the wavelength region of the heat rays with which the thermal recording layer is irradiated may be added to the layer. The absorbent may be, for example, a compound of formula (I). The adhesion-enhancing agent may be, for example, benzotriazole, bensoimidazole or a hydrochloride thereof. |
