PURPOSE:To provide smooth power characteristics by branching the output rotation of an engine into two systems and combining these systems to provide the output. CONSTITUTION:A planet gear mechanism 9 is interposed between a crankshaft 7 and an output shaft 8 of an engine 2. Also, a sub-shaft 10 interlocked with the crankshaft 7 is engaged with a ring gear 9c of the planet gear mechanism 9 through a belt system step-less speed change gear 16. Further, the crankshaft 7 is provided with a sun gear 9a of the planet gear mechanism 9 and the output shaft 8 is provided with a carrier 9b of said mechanism 9. Thus, since the inputs of two systems are combined to provide the output, smooth power characteristics can be provided over the whole region of travelling conditions in travelling of a vehicle.
