PURPOSE:To obtain a thermometer easy to transport and to handle by integrating in a bar form a temperature sensor part and a temperature display part for digital temperature display on the basis of the electrical signals from the sensor part. CONSTITUTION:The thermometer is made up of the temperature sensor part 1 and the bar-like temperature display part 2 for digital display of the sensed temperature. A terminal 14 is pressed to close a source switch 11 and the ther mometer is placed so that a reverse side 6 of a sensing par 3 is slidingly contacted with a sensed part. As a result, the temperature of the sensed part is transmitted through the sensing part 3 to a temperature sensor 4 and electri cal signals corresponding to the sensed temperature are applied to an amplifier 7. The thus applied electrical signals are amplified in an amplifier 7 and outputted to a digital display device 9 so that the temperature of the sensed part is digitally displayed and read through a glass window 13. In this way reading can be made easily and without error while the temperature sensing part and the temperature display part can be integrated to facilitate handling and transport. |
