PURPOSE:To enable to strongly contact-bond both sides of the outermost peripheral member of a tire onto both sides of the outer peripheral surface in the direction of the circumference of a tire body member without employing link and several kinds of tools by a method wherein driving devices for tilting tool are provided between members on tool spindle side and tool holder members. CONSTITUTION:Because driving devices 17 and 17' for tilting tool are respectively provided between members 16 and 16' on tool spindle side and tool holder members 13 and 13', the actuations of the driving devices 17 and 17' for tilting tool make tool spindles 2 and 2' and tools 1 and 1' tilt about pins through arms in the direction so as to return themselves to their former states, resulting in contact-bonding the ends of the outermost peripheral member of a tire onto both sides of the outer peripheral surface in the direction of the circumference of a tire body again and, after that, moving tool holder members 13 and 13' outwards along the rotating shaft under the state being energized in the forward direction. Thus, even when a broad tire is molded, needless to say about the molding of a radial tire with normal size, both sides of the outermost peripheral member of the tire can be strongly contact-bonded onto both sides of the outer peripheral surface in the direction of the circumference of the tire without employing link and several kinds of tools.
