PURPOSE:To reproduce several kinds of data even at high speed reproduction by setting a check bit completed by 2 IDs reproduced at the same time and using a code inhibited as data as the check bit. CONSTITUTION:ID,O 1, 4, 5 input data fed from a sound signal processing circuit 3 at reproduction to respective latches 18-21. An output of a system control circuit 17 switches input/output of latches 18-25 at recording/ reproduction, IDs 2 and 3 are fed to a data selector 32, a check bit discriminates the transmitted data and the result is given to latches 22-25 and counters 36, 37. The reproduced data is stored tentatively in the data latches 18-25 and the counters 36, 37 and fetched by the system control circuit 17 as required. The counter data is checked for program search or automatic locating operation at high speed reproduction.
