<p>A brake support (12) surrounds the edge of the disk (10) and has a pair of brake shoes (40, 44), each shoe being arranged on one side of the disk (10). On the support (12) a pair of guiding bolts (16, 26) are provided; said bolts are parallel to the disk axis (A) and are provided at different radial distances with respect to said axis. To this guide-bolts (16, 26) a displacable saddle (20) is arranged. An actuating device (36) which directly acts on one of the brake shoes (40) and on the other one (44) by the saddle (20) has an actuating axis (B) which, together with the axis (A) of the disk, defines a radial medial plane (C). The brake support (12) has guiding surfaces (52, 54) for the brake shoes (40, 44) only on the side of the medial plane (C) which, with respect to the foward rotation direction (D) of the disk (10), is the outlet side of the disk. To save room and reduce weight, the guiding bolts (16, 26) are arranged with respect to the radial medial plane (C) in the running direction of the disk.</p> |
