PURPOSE:To secure both thawing and fresh-air leading functions, by forming a spacing part between a cowl cover and a cowl top panel, opening an inlet port in the cowl cover and interconnecting it to the spacing part, while forming a fresh-air passage lying between a fresh-air intake and an inlet part together with the spacing part at an interval. CONSTITUTION:A box type section is formed with a cowl top panel, where a fresh-air intake port 2a, and a dash upper panel 4, where a ventilating hole 4a leading to a car room CR is formed, and on the panel 2, there is provided with a cowl cover 8 where an air inlet part 8a corresponding to the fresh-air intake port 2a is formed. In the above-mentioned cowl structure, a spacing part 12 is formed between the cover 8 and the panel 2, and in the front of the cover 8 adjoining an engine room ER, there is provided with an inlet port 14 of air inside the said room and this inlet port is interconnected to the spacing part 12. Then, a fresh-air passage 16 lying between the fresh-air intake port 2a and an inlet part 8a is formed together with the spacing part 12 at an interval. |
