PURPOSE:To prevent inventory operation according to wrong inventory information by inspecting inventory information stored in two groups of information storing areas of inventory information storing means prior to an article entry/ delivery operation. CONSTITUTION:A control means 26 is adapted to inspect inventory information stored in the respective information storing areas of inventory information storing means 28 prior to execution of control for entering and delivering an article, and execute the entry and delivery control for an article according to correct inventory information on judging that inventory information in at least one information storing area. On the contrary, on judging that information in at least one information storing area is wrong, the wrong inventory information is corrected by the other correct inventory information. Subsequently, the control means 26 receives article information output by article information input means 24, commands entry/delivery of a designated article to article entry/delivery means 22, and grasps the inventory status of an article storage 20 depending upon entry/delivery operation. Thus, inventory operation can be performed according to correct inventory information. |
