An actuating mechanism is disposed within a hollow torso (14) and connects a leg (22) to an arm, for pivoting the arm about its axis. This pivoting is achieved when a leg is rocked about its axis in the direction of a second leg. The first and second axes are perpendicular. - The actuating mechanism (54) includes a cam (56) for effecting pivoting of the first arm when the first leg is rocked.
