PURPOSE:To prevent the adhesion of adhesive articles by transporting an adhesive band-shaped article such as adhesive tape for package in the nipped state by the opposed transport surfaces of two transport bodies which are installed in the upper and lower places and circulate endlessly, and forming the circulation body of the transport band from plural stripes of coil springs. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 1 and a trailing rotor 3 are installed onto the upper and lower stages between frames, and the rotor 1 and the trailing rotor 3 in pairs between which plural stripes of coil springs 4 are tightened are laid oppositely at the equal height to another on the upper and lower stages, and a transport surface 5 is formed with the surface of the coil spring 4. A transported article (m) is interposed between a pair of transport surfaces 5 so as to permit lowering, and the transported article (m) is vertically transported between the transport surfaces 5. In the intermediate part of the transport surface 5, a cutter C' which revolves through rotation is provided, and cuts the transported article (m) in the crosswise direction midway in descent. A driving mechanism consists of a motor M, main shaft 7, gear 9 which drives the rotor 1 through a one-way clutch 8, gear 11 which drives the rotor 1 through an electromagnetic clutch 10, etc.
