PURPOSE:To make it possible to control alarm by only striking a portion of the clock by using an arrangement wherein a vibration sensor is secured to a portion of the clock and snooze setting, alarm stop and alarm setting can be sequentially performed by the output of the vibration sensor when the vibration is afforded to the clock. CONSTITUTION:When an alarm switch 21 is closed at the alarm time, an alarm circuit 12 is actuated to produce alarm sounds. For snooze setting, the clock frame is struck once. In this case, a counter 10 counts one by the output from the vibration sensor 5, a snooze control circuit 11 is energized by a pulse from a one-shot circuit 8 to stop the alarm for a certain preset time. After lapse of a preset time, an alarm sound is again emitted by the output from the control circuit 11. When it is desired to completely stop the ringing, the frame is struck twice, whereby the counter counts two. The output triggers a flipflop circuit 13 whereby a switching circuit 19 is turned on to stop the alarm sound. |
