PURPOSE:The titled composition having improved appearanceo of molded article without reducing crosslinking rate at the initial stage of crosslinking, obtained by blending a silane crosslinkable ethylene copolymer with a silanol condensation catalyst and a silane compound having a hydrolyzable organic group. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100pts.wt. copolymer consisting substantially of (i) 0.1-5wt% compound containing an ethylenic unsaturated bond copolymerizable ethylene and a hydrolyzable silane group, preferably vinyltrimethyoxysilane, vinyltriethyoxysilane and vinyltriacetoxysilane and (ii) ethylene is blended with (B) 0.001-10pts.wt., preferably 0.01-5pts.wt solanol condensation catalyst such as dibutyltin dilaurate, dibutyltin diacetate, etc., and (C) 0.01-5pts.wt., preferably 0.05-3pts.wt. silane compound containing a hydrolyzable group. |
