The present invention relates to a method of electrical energy distribution from the National grid, for the supply of recharging energy to movable articles (motor vehicles, boats, etc.) equipped in an ad-hoc way and using the electrical energy stored in accumulators. This device exhibits the form of a compact terminal having no moving parts, exhibiting one surface called transfer area against which the receiver element of the movable article must come to be positioned in coincidence. The transfer of energy from the terminal to the movable article is effected at this level by electromagnetic induction. The transfer area 5 is constituted in the terminal by the load circuit of a power amplifier 4 which is itself supplied through a variable-gain preamplifier 3 by a fixed-frequency oscillator 2. A "monitor centre" unit 6 takes account of different parameters and modulates the power delivered by 4, by acting on the gain of the preamplifier 3. This device bills the energy user by means of the billing subassembly 7 associated with the energy counter 8. The assembly is connected to the national grid by the subassembly 1 constituted by the usual members for connection and safety. <IMAGE>
