PURPOSE:To prevent the downstream side of a dust collector from being polluted by releasing dust when dust adhering to the surface of an object is removed by blowing jet stream against it, by setting the injected direction of jet stream on the upstream side of a dust collector. CONSTITUTION:When an object 10 to be cleaned is moved to a position confronting a suction chamber 4, at right angles (direction A) with the jet stream injected form the primary nozzle 11, the dust adhering to the surface of an object is scaled off by the jet stream, as well as to blow off dust from the surface of it. The dust is sucked into the suction chamber 4 and is caught by a paper filter 7. As the orifice of the secondary nozzle 12 faces to the upstream side against the moving direction of an object 10 wherein adhered is to be removed, the air containing floating dust will never be released to the downstream side of a dust collector. This kind of dust removing apparatus can be used in a clean room.
