PURPOSE:The titled composition having improved dispersibility, good feeling in used, capable of being made transparent, obtained by blending a dentifrice composition containing a binder and a surface active agent with a synthetic amorphous zirconium bonded silicate as a polishing agent. CONSTITUTION:A dentifrice composition containing sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, etc. as a binder and an anionic and/or nonionic surface active agent is blended with preferably 1-50wt% based on the total amounts of the composition of a synthetic amorphous zirconium bonded silicate having 0.1-10wt%, especially 0.2-2wt% calculated as Zr based on SiO2 of Zr bonded, preferably 1.40-1.47 refractive index, <=800m<2>/g specific surface area, 1.9-2.3 specific gravity, and 0.4-2.0ml/g liquid absorption amount as a polishing agent, to give a dentifrice composition having middle dispersibility and improved foaming and/or juice effects, capable of being substantially made transparent by letting substantially the polishing agent and a vehicle for dentifrice have the same refractive index. |
