Method of forming articles having a high receptivity toward automotive paints by molding blends of (A), (B), and (C) components, the combination of (A) + (B) + (C) being such to satisfy: 0.18 <= B/(A + B) <= 0.91 and, 0.43 <= C/(A + B) <= 1.51 and A is a copolymer of an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid and ethylene, B is an elastomer compatible with components (A) and (C) and C is a crystalline polymer or copolymer of propylene. Such formed parts have excellent paintability, a broad range of stiffness values and high impact and tensile strengths suitable for modern motor vehicle applications such as bumpers and facias and wheel covers.
