PURPOSE:To improve the turn-around efficiency of the system by dividing a training signal into the first half and the latter half and sending the first half to a transmission line not via a filter of a training device. CONSTITUTION:When a transmission request signal is fed to a terminal 1, a training generation control section 2 throws a contact of a switching circuit 4 to the position (t) and drives training sequence generating circuits 3, 19 and a damping factor generating circuit 20. As a result, the training signal sent from the circuit 19 and the output signal of the circuit 20 are multiplied by a multiplier 21 and the signal of the first half of the training signal is generated from the multiplier 21. On the other hand, the circuit 3 generates the training signal after a delay time tau in the training signal generating period. Thus, the first half signal in the training signal is outputted directly not via the filter during the period corresponding to the delay time tau and then the normal training signal through LPFs 6, 7, that is, the latter half signal is sent.
