PURPOSE:To provide a resin compsn. having excellent physical properties and impact resistance, by kneading a thermoplastic polyester, a specified compd., an ionic copolymer and optionally, a poly(alpha-olefin) copolymer. CONSTITUTION:20-50pts.wt. mixture of a metal salt (e.g. Na salt) of a copolymer (A) contg. 1-30mol% of an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid unit and COOH groups (at least 20% thereof being a mono- to trivalent metal salt composed of an alpha-olefin (e.g. ethylene), an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic [e.g. (meth)acrylic acid] and optionally, a vinyl comonomer as the third component, and optionally, a copolymer (B) composed of an alpha-olefin, an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid and optionally a vinyl comonomer as the third component in a ratio of B/A of 0-1, is kneaded with 100pts.wt. mixture of 80-15pts.wt. thermoplastic polyester contg. at least 80mol% of ethylene terephthalate unit and 20-85wt% poly(1,4-butylene terephthalate). |
