PURPOSE:To adequately suppress the oil feed quantity at high-speed rotation by providing valve control bodies shifted outwardly by the centrifugal force at the lower end of a crank shaft and controlling the size of oil feed gaps at the lower end of the crank shaft by the outward shift of these valve control bodies. CONSTITUTION:Four lugs 17 are formed on the outer periphery of a crank shaft 4 immersed in a lower oil sump in an enclosed container, and four valve control bodies 15 are fitted to these lugs via springs 16. The valve control bodies 15 are formed with slant faces (f) receiving a valve plate 20 energized in the separating direction from the lower end of the crank shaft by a spring 19. When the crank shaft 4 is rotated at a high-speed, the valve control bodies 15 are shifted outward radially against the shaft 4 by the centrifugal force. Accordingly, slant faces (f) of the valve control bodies 15 are separated from each other, and the valve plate 20 is shifted downward by the spring 19, thus the pressure of the oil feed passage in the crank shaft 4 is released to the lower end section of the shaft, and the oil feed efficiency is reduced. |
