PURPOSE:To ensure corrosion fatigue strength, by a method wherein the bead stop end part of an abutment weld bead part between a connector and the periphery of a seam weld pipe is rounded, and a bead part and an abutment part between the bead part and a seam weld bead are smoothly rounded by grinding. CONSTITUTION:The radius of a bead stop end part 5 of a peripheral abutment weld bead part 4 between a connector 2 and a seam weld pipe 1 is 5cm or more. The shape of reinforcement of weld of a bead part 4 and a longitudinal seam weld bead part 3 of the pipe 1 at an abutment part therebetween is formed such that it has a gradient of 1/3 or more. A linear defect produced along with grinding of the longitudinal seam weld bead 3 in the vicinity of the abutment part and all peripheral abutment weld bead part is extended in a direction extending in parallel to the axis of a pipe.
