A membrane (34) transparent to the monitoring signals evolves from a support platform for the foot (2) heel, partly extends as a freely suspended support part for the front parts of the foot, and at its front partly works in conjunction with a level adjustment and/or tension device (36) to regulate the height of the membrane front parts in relation to the support platform, and/or to regulate the tension of the membrane (34). The rear parts of the membrane, which actually form the support platform, can be fitted to the rear and on both sides of the heel on a holder (26) which has an adjustable support for the lower part of the shin. An elastic stocking (43) of signal-reflecting material is put on the foot placed on the membrane, and the lower part of the shin is moved against the membrane support. The foot is pressed downwards against the membrane with a specific pressure and maintained. The load exerted on the foot can be monitored from the graduations on scales (29). Drive motors (7,10) are then started, and the size investigation commences, using a movable measurement probe (16). |
